Blue Angel We understand that the Blue Angel is the largest of the Blue hosta’s. It has huge blue-green leaves, (can be 13” wide and 16” long) with heavy texture. Captain Kirk This amazing new sport of the popular H. 'Gold Standard' was introduced by Iowa's Kirk Brill...an avid Trekkie. Hosta 'Captain Kirk' is probably a tetraploid hosta featuring a delicious wide golden center, surrounded by a very wide dark green edge. As you can imagine, the contrast is truly stunning. Each 3' wide clump is topped with lavender flowers in midsummer.

Eskimo Pie Hosta 'Eskimo Pie' is an amazing new sport from the popular H. 'Northern Exposure'. Each round, corrugated, blue-green leaf is highlighted by a large, creamy central pattern. As the season progresses, the central pattern lightens to a parchment white. This has proven to be a very good grower making a 3' wide clump topped in late spring with near-white flowers atop 30" scapes.

First Mate This Mobjack Nursery discovery is a tetraploid sport of the popular H. sieboldii 'Kabitan'. H. 'First Mate' makes a vigorous 21" wide x 10" tall clump of narrow, thick, golden leaves, each surrounded by a dramatic dark green border. In mid-August, the clumps are topped with 2' flower spikes of light lavender flowers. I think you will really find this hosta quite unique.

Lakeside Little Tuft Hosta 'Lakeside Little Tuft' rapidly grows to form a tuft of green and yellow. This small plant's lance-shaped leaves have little or no petioles. Lakeside Mom Hosta 'Lakeside Mom' was given its name because it is a potential mom of many. Since registration it has become obvious that it is also considered a nice Mother's Day gift. Offered for both its beauty and quality as a pod parent, this streaked variety is a great addition to the gene pool. It is medium in size, sets seed readily, offers a variety of colors and has excellent substance. This 1999 introduction has ovate leaves with a cordate base. The parentage is "Lakeside seedling" x "Lakeside seedling."

Little Caesar 'Little Ceasar' originally was a streaked 'Breeder's Choice' seedling given to Ian Chrystal by Dick Ward. He named this stable form and Sandra Bond introduced it through her Goldbrook Plants. It's an attractive mini named because of it's seedling number's (BC59) relationship with ancient Rome.
Little Sunspot Leaves have wide green margins with a bright gold center. Light lavender flowers in early summer. A show stopper in any garden. One of the most popular hostas today. A true collector's hosta! A classic.
Luna Moth sport of the vigorous ‘Parky’s Prize’ but with thicker substance and wider margins. Dark green, heart-shaped leaves emerge with light green margins which brighten to yellow in summer.
Mack the Knife A dark green with slightly rippled deep gold margin. Has unusual orange margin color and heavy substance. (H. Galaxy X H. Hadspen Heron) Registered 1996. A superior hosta that warrants a place in any garden, magnificent miniature with very thick green leaves that have an unusual "orange" colored margin (we know of no other hosta with this color). The elongated leaves are slightly twisted and exhibit a rippled edge. Topped with lavender flowers in July.

Masquerade Masquerade is a dwarf hosta (but sometimes referred to as a mini-hosta) which gets 6" tall and 18" wide. It's a great choice for container growing, rocks gardens, or the front of your shade garden. Masquerade has tiny leaves with white centers and 2-toned green edges which form attractive clumps. Medium purple blooms late June into mid-July.
Midnight at the Oasis (Naylor Creek Nursery) This sport from H. ‘Pathfinder’ begins much like its parent with a thick white centered leaf surrounded by a dark green border. Then, as the season progresses (especially if it a warm one), the white center develops flecks and becomes darker and darker. In cooler climates the center will stay whiter until late summer. Vigorous grower with excellent substance and topped with lavender flowers.
Montana Aureomarginata Ex-large-sized, 28" high x 60” wide. This vase-shaped Hosta has long green leaves with irregular margins of yellow which turn to cream. Very pale lavender flowers in mid-summer.
Morning Light Cream centred with dark green irregular margin. Leaves of good texture sit upright and develop a half twist effect. Rare in cultivation. Pale lavender flowers.(S.P.F.)

Night Before Christmas 'Night Before Christmas', from John Machen (1994), is a sport of 'White Christmas'. The overall size is 30x18" with 29-36" scapes. It is a rapid grower with a semi-upright habit. The leaves are lance-shaped with a rounded base. They are cream colored in early summer, then turning to white. There is a very wide green margin which occupies about 2/3 of the leaf. The flowers are pale lavender and tubular in shape. Absolutely one of the best ever white-center hostas!

Orange Marmalade ‘Orange Marmalade’ PPAF (Solberg 2002) (Sport of ‘Paul’s Glory’) - Large mound of heart-shaped blue leaves with a center that emerges bright yellow, then turns an orangish gold before becoming pale yellow or white depending on the amount of sun. Lavender flowers in July. Beautifully variegated all summer! Yes it really looks orange-yellow or yellow-orange, like the Crayola crayons.

Rainforest Sunrise Very attractive sport of Hosta 'Maui Buttercups' is full of life. The solid golden leaves are accentuated with lovely dark green edges. The pale lavender flowers adds additional beauty to this already charming hosta. A great little hosta with sturdy leaves. Slugs do not touch it. Plant in sunny locations to bring out the bright golden centers.
Raspberry Sorbet This Mark Zilis hybrid of H. rupifraga x H. 'Shining Tot' is one of the most unique, and possibly best, green hostas to hit the market in years. The incredibly thick, ruffled, and glossy green leaves form an attention-getting 28" wide clump. The red flower scapes are topped in late summer with bluish-purple flowers.

'Frances Williams' without the leaf scorch, and you have H. 'Tokudama Flavocircinalis'. The thick, rounded, blue corrugated leaves are accented by a wide golden margin. In late spring, the 4' wide clumps are topped with 24" tall stalks of pale lavender flowers.
